Location Safety Ltd is led by father and son team Alan and Alex George, combining over 60 years of professional experience in location safety for film, television and outdoor media.

Alan George has worked in television safety since the 1980s, this along with over 40 years in mountain rescue – including leadership and incident command roles – he brings extensive experience in dynamic risk assessment, technical rescue and safety coordination. He is certified in Major Incident Management and Aircraft Post-Crash Safety, as well as holding a Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Alan has worked in television safety since the 1980s, this along with over 40 years in mountain rescue including leadership and incident command roles.

Alex George adds 20 years of on-set safety expertise and holds both NEBOSH Certificate and Level 6 Diploma qualifications in Health and Safety. A Certified Member of IOSH, Alex is also a qualified Rock Climbing Instructor, Mountain Leader, Swift Water Rescue Technician, Rope Rescue Supervisor and Instructor with two decades of mountain rescue operational experience.
